While sitting in the eagle blind last week I had a nice treat when a pair of eastern coyotes popped in for a minute to take a look around the eagle food. They didn’t come up to it, I think they had that 6th sense that I was in there or something. The wind was in my face so I know they couldn’t smell me, but something wasn’t quite right to them . Coyotes are so very cunning and hard to get close to. They have come to the eagles food several times during the day when I was not there, of course! This one came close enough for a decent shot however, so I did get a few to share with you. The shot of him running was when he was chasing the crows that were heckling him. They always do when they show up in the daylight, fun to watch. They are hated by many, but hard to dispute how beautiful they are. enjoy!

Nice coyote photo’s, Gail. Lucky to have seen them in the daylight. They sure look healthy, don’t they!
